The current temperature today, July 5, is 31 degrees with an extreme heat warning for the next couple of days. On extreme hot days, black currants mature very quickly and it looks like we will be starting black currant harvest mid July and should have plenty or product available for self serve anytime after July 26. We will have both the 2 Kg smaller frozen pail of currants at $35.00 ea and the larger 9 Kg(20 lb) pail of frozen currants at $100.00 ea. It’s probably best to email, text or leave a message to pre-order the 9 Kg(20 lb) pail just to avoid disappointments.

Also available at the farm is our own Black Currant Jam for $8.00 ea (250 mL) or $75.00 per case (12×250 mL). Our Black Currant Cordial has been a huge success and will be available at the farm as well for $12.00 per bottle (350 mL) or &100.00 per case (12 x 250 mL). There are a number of different recipes using cordial on our recipe page but my personal recommendation is the Black Currant Mojito especially if you have access to fresh mint.

Unfortunately we do not have debit/credit at the self-serve and can only accept cash, cheques or e-transfer to foxmoor.blake@gmail.com. You can also shop online this year with shipping to Canada.
